Early Morning Cyclist Inspiration

I'm pushing it with this title since the first picture is early evening.  Here's a 24 hour time lapse.  It's not a very good time lapse since there are only 2 pictures.  But you know what I mean.

Most beautiful sunset with a little Venus showing (could be Mars, I couldn't see it's face).

The most drab sunrise with 9 degrees of warmth.
And this is what happens when you take the morning picture with the settings you used for the evening picture.

The Year Of The Deer

This may be the biggest year for deer so far.  This morning they were everywhere in the woods.  I only managed to get a picture of a few but they were out in force.

Nothing here but a tree.

All the better to hear you with my child.
Hello?  Trying to sleep here.  Those BB7s really squeal.
I do wish they would stick to their own singletrack and keep their hoof-prints out of the trail.
That's all I've got today.

This just added: 1 day later, 3 more deer.  Actually dozens more deer but these are the only ones I got pictures of.  Actually, they are probably some of the same deer that just like photobombing my woods pictures.

What?
This just added, another day later.  I took a picture of their lair.  When I passed by here last night there were at least 25 pairs of bright yellow eyes staring at me from the inky blackness of the forest. SPOOKY!  Not really, pretty cool though.
The deer have gone off to do deer stuff and they are waiting for housekeeping to come.

Early Morning Cyclist Inspiration

Unfortunately there haven't been any decent sunrises to capture lately.  The day just gets lighter, boring.  So this blog will just showcase the excellent conditions of our snow covered trails to tease those out west that no longer get snow.  The teasing shouldn't last long because we could possibly get another foot tonight and need to start over.  Or we might get 1/2"  The ability to forecast this winter has been lacking.
The aftermath of a blizzard with no snow.

Trails are ripe and ready

This is special because it is the only KOM I've ever got on the Pigsley
100% Deer Singletrack

Trails are ripe and ready (so good I posted almost the same picture twice)

Coffee on the trail at 0 degrees is oh so sweet.

I'd like to say this was artistic but it's really just a bad picture.
